Your information
Privacy Policy
This policy explains what MonkFlows collects through its research-stage website and investor-interest survey, why we collect it, and the choices available to you.
Effective and last updated September 28, 2026
1. Scope and who we are
This Privacy Policy applies to monkflows.com and the MonkFlows market-research survey. MonkFlows is an early-stage project based in Florida, United States. It is not currently accepting investments or creating investor accounts through this website.
Questions or privacy requests may be sent to privacy@monkflows.com.
2. Information we collect
Survey responses
We collect the answers you submit about where you are based, how you invest, the real-world investments you want easier access to, a hypothetical amount, product priorities, and hypothetical likelihood of investing. If you choose “Other,” we also collect the text you provide.
Optional contact information
You may choose to provide your full name and email address. If you ask to receive updates, we record that preference. Contact information is requested at the end of the survey and is used to follow up only when you ask for updates.
Technical and security information
We receive ordinary request information such as IP address, browser and device details, requested pages, timestamps, and security signals. To limit survey abuse, the survey converts the submitting IP address into a keyed one-way HMAC value. The rate-limit events containing that value are automatically pruned after approximately 24 hours. If you manually select English or Spanish, we store a functional preference cookie named monkflows_locale for one year. It records only that language choice. It is not used for advertising or cross-site tracking, and it does not contain survey answers, names, email addresses, or investment-related responses.
Anonymous usage analytics
We collect limited events such as page views, page exits, survey starts, survey CTA clicks, and successful survey completion. Completion events may indicate whether contact information was provided and whether updates were requested, but we do not send your survey answers, name, or email address to PostHog.
3. How we use information
- Analyze demand, preferences, concerns, and product-market fit.
- Design and improve the MonkFlows website and potential future product.
- Contact you about product updates if you expressly request them.
- Protect the survey, prevent abuse, troubleshoot errors, and secure the service.
- Comply with law, enforce our terms, and establish or defend legal claims.
Survey answers and indications of interest are non-binding and are not used to open an investment account, reserve an investment, or determine eligibility for an offering.
4. When we disclose information
We may disclose information to service providers that help operate the website:
- Vercel for website hosting and delivery.
- Supabase for managed database infrastructure.
- PostHog for configured cookieless, anonymous product analytics.
- Cloudflare Turnstile for bot and abuse prevention.
- Google Fonts for delivering the typefaces used by the site.
We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect rights or safety, in a business reorganization or financing transaction, or with your direction. We do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
5. Retention
We retain survey responses for as long as reasonably necessary for the research and product development purposes described above, and then delete or de-identify them unless a longer period is needed for legal, security, or recordkeeping reasons. HMAC-based IP rate-limit events are designed to be pruned after approximately 24 hours. Analytics retention is managed according to our PostHog configuration and account settings.
6. Your choices and rights
You may ask to access, correct, or delete personal information associated with your email; withdraw a request for updates; or object to certain processing. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request. Rights differ by location, and legal exceptions may apply.
You can turn off anonymous product analytics for your browser on our Tracking Notice & Choices page. You may also enable your browser’s Do Not Track signal, which our analytics configuration respects.
7. Security
We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards designed for the information we collect, including server-side survey submission, validation, bot protection, access controls, database row-level security, and short retention for hashed rate-limit data. No internet service can guarantee absolute security.
8. Children and international visitors
The site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. MonkFlows operates from the United States, so information may be processed in the United States and other locations where our service providers operate.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the website or our practices change. The date at the top shows the latest revision. Material changes will be communicated through the website or another appropriate channel.
